About The Mayfair Consultancy

The Mayfair Consultancy was formed in Plymouth by Robert Smith in 1996.

Working closely with investment specialist estate agents May and Trout, The Mayfair Consultancy quickly established a reputation as being specialists in the "Investment Property Mortgages" sector, or what is now commonly known as the "buy to let" mortgage market.

As other investment options decreased in profitability and attractiveness to investors, Robert and his staff were soon dealing with both experienced landlords increasing their portfolio and a growing number of first and second time landlords who were looking to become more involved in the buoyant and profitable "buy to let" market.

With assistance from The Mayfair Consultancy, some of these first and second time landlords have now grown portfolios worth millions of pounds with healthy rental income streams.

Although these property investors came from all walks of life and with differing levels of experience, interestingly enough The Mayfair Consultancy has found itself advising local professionals in the market as well as estate agents, IFA's and no less than four local letting agents.

This is a testimony to the level of experience and knowledge at The Mayfair Consultancy. Their extensive knowledge of the local "buy to let" market has been found to be extremely helpful and reassuring to landlords new and old.
